Medicaid Expansion Advocacy Day – February 25

 Location: Room 200, State House (Registration closed; room is at capacity)

Parking Information

Parking near the State House is limited, so we encourage carpooling. Free parking is available at:

  • Alabama Arise Office Visitor's Parking – 400 South Union Street; only 10 spots available

  • Cramton Bowl parking lot – Madison Avenue (between North Hilliard Street and Hall Street)

  • Metered and garage parking options are also nearby. 

Event Schedule & Logistics

Registration: 8:30 – 9:15 AM (Look for our team at the front entrance)
 Breakfast: 9:00 AM
 Press Conference: 10:30 AM

Lunch: 12:00 PM

Legislative Visits

We will attempt to schedule meetings with your state senators based on your registration address. You’ll be placed into a team with a team captain to guide you. If your lawmakers are unavailable, you can drop off materials at their offices.

While we have not scheduled appointments with state representatives, we strongly encourage you to stop by their offices, introduce yourself, and leave materials. These personal connections make a big impact!
